Danie Harris is a documentary and commercial director & producer whose work is defined by human-centered stories with vibrant visuals. Intimacy, truth and celebration of the individual are at the heart of her films.
Her work has been covered by publications including The Philadelphia Inquirer, WXPN, LNP, The Honey Pop and screened at film festivals in the U.S. and abroad.
She’s worked with brands and names including Hearst Media, Very Local, CleanChoice, Amistad Law Project, Yvette Young, Rozes, and Oscar-nominated Son Lux.
Danie’s t film, No Way Home, featured by The Philadelphia Inquirer is currently screening in the U.S. and abroad, including a screening in Geneva, Switzerland, on the occasion of the UN Human Rights Committee’s review of the United States.
Harris’s credits include award winning documentary Silver Linings, which launched on streaming and television spring 2024. Silver Lining follows record-breaking 90 year old swimmer Janet Rushmere as she completes her goal of swimming 100 miles in a year and 66-year old body-builder Sally Winchell as she competes in the Miss Senior America beauty pageant.
